• I have a huge question regarding Stripe on my site. PLEASE HELP!!

Here is what I am doing.

I created a sign up now page for members to join. Once there sign up they are sent a password where they sign into and it directs them to the Join Now page where they have to place more info in order to join. The it’s confirm in an email and then they have to go back and login and view the page they are joining for. My problem is after that third step the JOIN NOW info is still in that page and all I want them to see is the info they have subscribed to. Is there a way to hide this when they have paid. I feel like it’s to many steps.

I also noticed that in order to join they have to sign up then go thru the steps. Doesn’t Stripe and S2 work where the can just join and pay at the same time and be directed to the welcome page where the content is instead of doing all theses steps? I have been sitting here for hours and I can’t seem to get it to work the way I did it with the PayPal buttons from my last site.

I love stripe just need it to be easier for new members.

I hope this all makes sense?

My email is [ redacted, support is not offered via email, IM or Skype ]

I really hope someone can get to me sooner.

    Thank you

  • The Pro version gives you Pro forms where you can do payment and registration in one go.

As for the Join Now message, you need to use a Simple Shortcode Conditional so that it’s visible only to whom you choose.

Does the S2 plugin work with coupons where I give a discount for our not signed up member to join for free from using the join now page I created? I see that add billing section just need to sort out if I can set it up for others to place a code or something so I don’t have to edit 240 people to Level 1

    thanks

Quick question about the coupon code

By adding this number 240 in the code is this the amount of coupon I am sending out and when it reaches 240 the coupon has expired?

    accept_coupons=”240″

Here’s the full short code on my page

    [s2Member-Pro-Stripe-Form level=”1″ ccaps=”photo” desc=”7 Weeks to Photo Shoot Ready for $59.99″ cc=”USD” custom=”loveleelifestyle.com” ra=”0.00″ rp=”1″ rt=”L” rr=”BN” coupon=”” accept_coupons=”240″ default_country_code=”US” captcha=”0″ /]

No, it must say accept_coupons="1" The 1 here is binary-speak for “on”. I don’t think there is a way to limit the number of coupons accepted. You can, though, set an expiry date.

    Oh interesting.

Where am I placing the expiry date in the coding I sent you or am I doing that in the Pro code section?

    I found this

    SAVE-10|10% (saves the Customer 10%)
    SAVE-20|20% (saves the Customer 20%)
2$OFF|2.00 ($2.00 off the normal price)
EASTER|5.00 ($5.00 off the normal price)
    CHRISTMAS|5.00|12/31/2020 ($5.00 off, expires Dec 31st, 2020)
    CHRISTMAS-25|25%|01/01/2021 (25% off, expires Jan 1st, 2021)
    100%OFF|100% (100% FREE access @ $0.00)

And maybe I create the expiry coding like this?

    ISAGENIX|100%|11/10/2014

I placed this ISAGENIX|100%|11/10/2014 in the green block are in the Pro coupon code section of S2 Memeber???

    Yes, exactly!
