I was using PMPro in test mode with Stripe, and I had 3 plans for subscribers. When I moved over to live, it seems like PMPro kept the plans and Stripe didn’t. Users are subscribing and paying the correct amount. When I go to edit customers in Stripe, it says “Plan 7djsifj (or whatever) does not exist”, which I assume is some plan id number designated inside of PMPro.

Do I recreate the same plans in Stripe (do I have to choose the same ID?) or how do I make sure Stripe has the same plans as are available to subscribe to in PMPro? Or does it not really matter that they’re in Stripe, too?

    Thanks!

  • Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. PMP creates the plans on the fly and does not use Stripes internal plans. Instead it creates a new Stripe plan with each customer and then deletes it. This is done to maintain flexibility with billing and payments. Thanks again.

Interesting! Ok, thanks! If I were to create separate plans in Stripe, it wouldn’t affect anything else, correct?
