Thank you very much for a fabulous plugin!

As the title says our donations stay ‘pending’.

– We do receive the money in stripe
– Donators do not get emails

Went through all the documentation on
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/payment-gateways/stripe-free/

The logs in Stripe and in WordPress do not see/give any errors.

However on our donation page I do not use the default ‘thank/confirmation’ page but use my own. We do not ask the customer to re-enter their email address.
Is this the problem?

HI there,

I know you mentioned the doc, but 99% of the time the answer is exactly in that one doc. Did you properly configure the webhook in your Stripe account? That is what is needed to ensure that your donations are set to Complete correctly in GiveWP once they are processed in Stripe.

Can you triple-check your webhook in your Stripe settings, a screenshot here would be helpful to confirm as well.

Sent you a print screen. It is a bit cumbersome as I have to manually confirm the donations to ensure the customers get an email.

I do need to see the full url. But based on the screenshot it looks like you’re using a sub-folder or the main domain. Something like this:
https://example.org/cause?give-listener=stripe

Do you have your website installed in that sub-folder? If not then the webhook needs instead to be:
https://example.org/?give-listener=stripe

Please clarify that for me. Thanks!

Hello @webdevmattcrom yes the ‘shop’ is installed in a sub-folder.
So the website is:
https://sabrinafrancis.com/merchandise
and so is the webhook
https://sabrinafrancis.com/merchandise?give-listener-stripe

My donations are still pending and people only get emails when I confirm them manually.
The money is received.

As I have the WordPress installed in the sub-folder ‘merchandise’ is the correct webhook:
https://sabrinafrancis.com/merchandise/?give-listener-stripe

Do I need to add a ‘/’ after merchandise?
