    Hi @cdwheelhit

    I hope you’re well today!

Such “Stripe Payemnt ID does not exist” issue may be related to wrong data being send to Stripe, often caused by the conflict with some other Stripe implementation on site active at the same time (so other plugin on site also using Stripe).

But I didn’t hear yet about it being caused by the date input. I’m assuming you mean the datepicker field, right? Is this field used – did you add it – to Payment Description settings in Stripe field or as some Meta Data there? Or is it just about that field simply being on the form?

Would you mind sharing a form export with us so we could test it on our end?

    To share form export:

    – go to the “Forminator -> Forms” page
    – click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question and select “Export” option there
    – copy given export code and put it at https://pastebin.com or on your Google Drive, Dropbox and similar
    – and share direct link to that in response below (note: make sure it’s publicly readable).

Note: this will not include any data submitted via the form and no Stripe configuration/information – we don’t need it anyway; only the form itself will be included

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi @cdwheelhit ,

I sorry about that, I been putting our other issues. I will try to to export it out. But to answer the question I know it sounds strange but customer had enter a date field on their form it would get. Stripe Payment ID does not exist error.

But after I removed it seem to be working fine, by the end of the week I will try to export the old form and share it with you guys. I sorry for the delay

    Hi @cdwheelhit

    Thank you for response!

I’ve set this topic back to “unresolved” then.

    As for the issue itself:

I surely believe you but I’m just not yet sure why it is happening and what is causing it. That is because we don’t have any such issues reported and confirmed as bugs yet and I also can’t replicate that (I even tried again just now).

Hence my question for the form export – we’ll need to test and investigate it to find out what and why is happening.

However, just one more thing before you share export: could you please try a very simple thing?:

    – just remove the stripe field from the form
    – update/save form
    – flush all cache on site/server, if there is any
    – re-add and configure stripe field back
    – again update/save form and flush all cache

I’m aware it sounds a bit “lame” but we’ve had some isolated cases in the past where simply the form configuration for some reason was getting slightly “messed up” in the DB and that process was helping.

If it doesn’t solve anything, please continue with form export and we’ll look into it.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi,

I encountered the same issue with my form and Stripe payment. It was working till end of January. But with the last update, Stripe payment was not working any more, with the message “Stripe payment ID does not exist”. I also have a date field, and removing it solved the problem.

As it was quite urgent, I didn’t take time to remove Stripe field and put it back again.

Yeah to piggy back what dge said this started about … 3/4 Weeks ago and they notice it.

Finally I ran through the whole form and recreated it from scratch. Then when I got the date part .. That’s when I had issues pop up again.

    Hi @cdwheelhit

I made a test on my lab site wiht your form (which does not have stripe field -> the exported one) and I added Stripe field and I was not able to replicate this issue. Can you let us know does your Stripe field has any Visibility rules added, for example related to that date field?

Are you able to duplicate your form (with stripe field), set it up Stripe field as test(sanbox) and place on some test page where we could replicate this issue?

    Kind Regards,
    Kris

it is set to test and still the same issue. When I remove date (Date of Birth) it seems to work correctly.

    Hi again @cdwheelhit

Would you please run a conflict test as it seems something affects the date field? Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works.

Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.

If that will not give any positive results, please email us at: [email protected]
