Stripe Link

    I’m just testing this out before we purchase. I’m trying to link a Stripe account but the site I’m wanting to link is a secondary account on my Stripe account (ie. I’ve been given developer access). However, when I link Stripe I don’t get an option as to which of my developer accounts to link up – it just links my root account. Is there a way round this?

    Hi @jonpbradley!

    Glad to see you “kicking the tires” here! Note: we’re pretty biased, but we think even the free version is pretty killer.

    I have not tested this, but I would assume that in order to fully make the connection on Stripe with a specific account, you need to be a full admin on the Stripe side of things. It’s not letting you pick (presumably) because you only have one account like that.

    I’ve also not tested this, but I’d assume that you can temporarily be made an admin, make that connection, and then be made back into a developer on that Stripe account.

    Please let me know if I’m right about that, I’d love to make a note about it in our documentation for connecting to Stripe with GiveWP.

    Thanks, that may be the case. I’ll ask the main admin to make the link and then I think I can do the rest.
