Stripe field color changing all the time

    Hi there,

    I have a weird issue on my website. I’m using OceanWP. The Stripe credit card box is working find, the field is white and the text inside is black. But one or two days later, the text color is now white without changing anything. So i have a white text in a white field…

    If i change my theme it’s working again, but some days after the text color change again and i don’t know why. I have reset my theme 4 times already and the same issue appear again and again.

    Can you help me please ?

    This behavior could be related to several factors including a theme or plugin conflict, custom CSS that may be impacting the form, or potentially caching issues that affect style changes intermittently.

    To further investigate this, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to a default theme such as?Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

    If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and WooPayments and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

    Be sure you have a good backup in place of your full site and database. You can ask your host for backup functionality or you can consider using a service like Jetpack. If something goes wrong, you will be able to restore it.

    If i change the theme in my website everything is working. But if i reset my OceanWP theme everything is working too ! And few days later the text color is white again without touching anything.

    I have 4 websites using the same theme and the same plugin and i don’t have this issue with the others websites. Deactivate all plugins is not working neither. This is very very weird.

    It is quite unusual that this is happening to only one of your websites out of the 4 websites you have.

    To be able to completely rule out any theme related issues, I would recommend switching to a default theme like Storefront, on a staging site, then observing if the same would happen to your text colors in a few days.

    This will help with understanding if the issue is in any way related to your third-party theme.

    i tried with another theme and the issue is coming back, so it’s not a theme issue.

    Honestly i have no idea what’s happening…

    Thank you for sharing an update on this issue.

    Could you please confirm if you have any custom code in your store? It is possible there is a code overriding the changes made. Also, are you able to confirm if when testing, you only had WooCommerce as the active plugin and a default theme in place?
