Stripe Error.You have passed a blank string for ‘card’.

  • Hi there,

    I have a shop running with the newest versions of Woocommerce, WordPress and Stripe WooCommerce Addon. U use the Maya Shop theme.

    On a few orders the payment fails with the following error in the order notes:
    Stripe Error.You have passed a blank string for ‘card’. You should remove the ‘card’ parameter from your request or supply a non-blank value.

    How is that possible. What has happened?

    Hi Peter ,

    That is possible if token request was not completed from remote server of stripe and still form got submitted somehow so there will no payment triggering that error

    I understand that no payment was made. But is it an bug in the plugin. Or did the customer do something wrong in the payment process?
