    Hi everyone,

I am desperately trying to install stripe on my website https://lucioleetpetitpois[dot]com but in test mode, I get this error message:

Please enter your card details to make a payment. Developers: Please make sure that you are including jQuery and there are no JavaScript errors on the page.

At one point, all plugins (except for WC and Stripe WC gateway) were disabled and a new theme (twenty 16) was activated… no luck there, the error msg was still there.

If the issue doesn’t come from a plugin or the theme… where should i look ?

Thanks for reading and any suggestions you might have.

    Cheers,

    Kristen

  • Hello,

Visiting your site I can see the following error message in the console: ” Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token : ”

    which refers to line 95: ” google: { families: [ “Lato:regular,700″,:regular,regular”,:regular,700″,”, ] } ”

Maybe this is causing the Stripe error since it’s a JavaScipt error.

    Hi Kristen,

As Johan says, I’d definitely investigate that console error. It looks like a font isn’t loading correctly; and the error suggests that clearing Javascript errors is important to making the plugin work correctly.

    Cheers!

    Kristen,

We’ve seen several of these issues pop up in the forums over the past few days, so I’d love to collect more information from you.

I’m digging into this, as there have been several reports on the forum over the past day or two about this.

Can you verify some information for me?

    * Did any of your plugins update recently?
    * What other plugins do you have installed?
    * Did any of your installed themes update recently?
    * Can you confirm the version of Stripe?
    * What host are you using?

This error was last seen on Stripe version 3.0.4, so I’m trying to compile information to see if there’s a common thread, like there was then.

    Cheers!

    Kristen,

Another user reported that they found a conflict with the “Bootstrap One Page WooCommerce Checkout” plugin – if you have that one installed and enabled, try switching it off to see if the error resolves.

    Cheers!
