Stripe Empty String Error

    I have this error on the payment form:

    You passed an empty string for 'card'. We assume empty values are an attempt to unset a parameter; however 'card' cannot be unset. You should remove 'card' from your request or supply a non-empty value

    I’ve been reading your FAQ section on this titled ‘Why am I getting an ‘Empty string given for card’ error?’.

    I’ve disabled all of my plugins except GF and GF + Stripe and have switched to the default WordPress theme.

    The test form is very simple, it just has two fields, one for the product and the payment card details field and Stripe is in test mode.

    I’ve added the form to my page via the ‘Add Form’ button above the WYSIWYG editor. I’ve also set Stripe to ‘active’ in the form settings. I do not have an SSL cert applied to the site yet, do I need to have this for test mode?
