Hi @lauraoam,
Trust you are doing good and sorry to know that you are experiencing this issue.
I checked the mentioned URL and was able to replicate the issue. Could you please export the form and share it with us using pastebin.com or Google Drive so we can take a closer look at the issue?
Please find more details on how to export a Forminator form here: https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export
We look forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards,
Nebu JohnHi @wpmudevsupport14
Here is the form exported: https://pastebin.com/embed_iframe/9rL8N7kgHI @lauraoam
Thanks for sharing the form!
I can’t replicate this on my end but I checked your site again and I noticed that not only the field is “not clickable” but also it doesn’t look complete – there’s a part of card expiration data and CVC code missing.
This is quite unexpected and I can’t replicate that on my end as well.
There’s no errors in browser console on your site too. However, this issue looks like some sort of a conflict so let me ask:
– do you use any other plugin(s) that may have Stripe support built-in and currently enabled? if yes, can you try temporarily disabling them and see what happens?
– did you try to switch theme temporarily to Twenty Twenty-Two or Twenty Twenty-Three and does it change anything?– also, is the form added to page using shortcode or elementor’s widget?
Kind regards,
AdamHi @wpmudev-support8
Here are the answers:– do you use any other plugin(s) that may have Stripe support built-in and currently enabled? if yes, can you try temporarily disabling them and see what happens? No, no other plugins that use Stripe. Just Elementor.
– did you try to switch theme temporarily to Twenty Twenty-Two or Twenty Twenty-Three and does it change anything? I did, but it still doesn’t work.
– also, is the form added to page using shortcode or elementor’s widget? I added it via shortcode. I am using the free version of the Forminator plugin and I don’t have an Elementor widget for this.
I also used this combination (Elementor Pro + Forminator free) on other websites and it worked.
Is there any solution for this?
Thanks,
Laura-

Hi @lauraoam
I see many errors in the browser console which are related to stripe. It sounds like a conflict here. Apart from the above theme test please follow the below guide and let us know about the results.
Please deactivate all plugins except Forminator and check if the problem is gone. If so, then enable all plugins one by one and find which one is having a conflict. If there is no positive result, switch to the default WordPress theme like 2019, and see if it works.
Before this test, we recommend full site backup or running this test on the staging site.
Kind Regards,
KrisHi @wpmudevsupport13
I did what you said and the conflict is between Elementor and Forminator. When I activate Elementor the card field is not working anymore.
Do you have a solution for this one? Thanks,
LauraHi @lauraoam
Thank you for response!
Before we go any further, could you please test one more thing on your site?
Please edit the form and go to it’s “Behavior” settings and on that settings page in the “Rendering” section near the bottom disable the “Load form using AJAX” option.
Then update the form, clear all cache on site/server and check the form again.
Let us know about result, please.
Kind regards,
AdamHi @wpmudev-support8
That setting was already disabled.Hi there,
Any news about this one?
Hi @lauraoam,
Sorry to hear about the ongoing issue. Since we aren’t able to replicate this on our side it’s tough to say what exactly is causing this behaviour.
Just to be sure the issue resolves once you switch to “Test” mode and it only occurs in “Live” mode and with the Elementor Pro plugin? Could you please confirm if it’s the free or the Pro version when activated you notice this issue?
Could you also please check whether you notice the same issue if you temporarily remove the “Address” field from the form?
Could we also know the current version of Elementor free and the Pro versions you are running? Making sure it’s tested with the latest version or not for us to double check whether it’s something that could be replicated on our side too.
Looking forward to your response, so that we could check further.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
The issue is not solved when I enable test mode.
The error occurs when I activate the FREE version of Elementor.
I have removed the ‘Address’ field and the error is still there.
Both Elementor free and Pro are Version 3.9.1.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Laura
