    Hey Complianz

I was running through Comp settings, since I am starting Multiuser site. New stuff is users connecting to my Stripe through their Stripe Connect Service. It creates an account with Stripe to be used for payments by the user.

I am struggling to get access to stripe as a connected user, and I am wondering if complianz Script blocker could cause this?

I went over things with Stripe Support and they say everything looks good from their side, but they are getting a url that wont work… Any ideas?

    Hi @hebhansen,

While it does sound unlikely to me that Complianz would block Stripe’s Connect Service (especially if that connection is established on the back-end of the website):

The easiest way to definitively rule it out as being related to this behavior would be to disable the plugin temporarily, clear cache (if applicable), and to retry this when the Complianz plugin has been fully disabled.

    Kind regards, Jarno

Thx @jarnovos I will try that out.

One other thing. I just ran the wizard for latest updates and privacy link is disconnected. Is there a simple way link to my Privacy or do need to rerun wizard ?

    Hi @hebhansen,

If you navigate to Complianz > Wizard > General > Documents and have any documents set to a “Custom URL” or “Link to custom page”, you can update the current page to the new/correct URL of your document.

If you set the document to “Generated by Complianz” instead, the plugin will automatically link to the correct URL of the document inside the Cookie Banner.

Are you saying that Generated by Comp is pointing to my Privacy? Or is it pulling another one?

Also I have the auto Ts & Cs downloadet from Complianz and then inserted into my custom TsCs. That gives me sort of 2 seperated TsCs on the same page. Can yours be split and then merged into mine. Shortcode per paragraph fx…

    Hi @hebhansen,

Your current configuration seems correct. The Cookie Policy link in the Banner points to the Cookie Policy generated with Complianz, and the Privacy Policy link points to your own, custom Privacy Policy.

The T&C shortcode [cmplz-terms-conditions type="terms-conditions"] would insert the entire document. But you could set it “Disable synchronization and edit” to freely edit its’ contents, to add your own sections for example. (https://complianz.io/editing-terms-conditions/)

    Kind regards, Jarno

Thx Jarno An auto updated TsCs is kind of the idea of a plugin as Complianz, So disconnecting is not really the option.

A change request or idea if you will:

    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”tableofcontent”] pulls a ToC
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Intro” tableofcontent=”hidden”] pulls the intro
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Chapter 1″ numbered=”yes”]
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Chapter 2″ numbered=”no”]
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Chapter X” numbered=”yes-hierarchy” indented=”yes”]
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Chapter 21″]
    • Custom content and graphics
    • [cmplz-terms-conditions type=”Date,version,time” tableofcontent=”hidden”]

A top level chapter shortcode would create seperated blocks that allow personal additions and customisation in between.

Creating a page for the full doc in private is fine. And then each chapter could insert into the official TC while still having updates from Complianz….

Just an idea – Let me know if this is something you might concider …
