Hi, I read a previous topic from around 9 months ago and was wondering if this is a feature being currently worked on or one for the future?

I have two use cases where I host and create woo-commerce sites for my clients:

    1) The most simplest for my single restaurant customers: I would like the majority of the payment for an order to go into my customer’s connect Stripe account and then the remaining amount (fixed percentage, fee or both) to go into my own stripe account.

This will avoid me having clients’ funds in my own bank account and will automate the process instead of me having to manually bank transfer clients’ funds minus my commission fee.

Something simple and similar to BSD Split Pay for Stripe Connect on Woo would be ideal (although this plugin did not work for me and I much prefer your plugin for Stripe).

    2) For my multi-vendor customers (a food court for example): I too need to split the payment between the multi-vendor and myself but also between the different vendors in the foodcourt depending on the product purchased (ie 5% split for myself, 15% split for the multi-vendor and 80% for the vendors). Would this be possible?

Currently I am not using a multi-vendor marketplace, so the ideal solution would allow me to go into products/categories and select how to distribute payments for this particular product/category between multiple Stripe accounts. Something similar to YITH STRIPE CONNECT FOR WOOCOMMERCE would work, but I would rather not have to move away from your plugin (as the plugin needs to handle the customer payment) and because you cannot set the splits per category, I would have the task of setting up splits for over 500 products.

The other option would be to install a multi-vendor marketplace plugin (WC-Marketplace was suggested) but I am not sure this would be able to handle multiple commissions for each vendor (one for myself and one for the vendor if the multi-vendor’s Stripe account is used) or be able to handle a split between myself and the mulit-vendor and then issue a final single commission to the vendor.

If I did have to use a multi-vendor plugin (if you could recommend any which work well with your plugin), I could live with taking the payments with my stripe account, setting up commissions for vendors to be paid automatically and then bank transferring the multi-vendor’s share.

Thanks for your time, and apologise if you have to reread over to make sense of what I am trying to achieve, as it is quite difficult to explain.

    Hi @dineintec,

was wondering if this is a feature being currently worked on or one for the future?

While this isn’t a feature that’s currently being worked on there is some internal discussion on how something like this might work. Ideally we feel that a separate plugin would be best because split payments can become somewhat complex based on the merchant’s business.

So it would be a plugin that integrates with our Stripe plugin most likely if we were to create something like this.

Unfortunately we don’t have a recommendation for you regarding a multi-vendor plugin that integrates with our plugin. We’ll look around and see what exists out there. We might need to reach out to some of these developers regarding an integration.

    Thanks for the swift reply.

Another plugin or add on would be most welcomed. I’m sure people like myself would also be happy to pay a small one-off fee for the plugin for each customer too, or a larger fee for an unlimited license. Please let me know if you decide to develop anything like this – even without the multi-vendor capabilities it would be very handy to have.

Looking forward to your suggestions regarding the multi-vendor plugin integration.

    Kind Regards
