    Stripe CC Expiration Date YEAR field not fillable using number pad (works sometimes on the top row of numbers on a keyboard but not the right side number pad). Any way to get that to work?

    Add something to the cart and try typing in something in the Expiration Date field, it only lets you type the first 2 digits and throws the forward slash in then no typing works for the year field. I know, super random. But it does allow you to prefill if you have a card saved and it does allow you to paste in the date but not type it. (Which is what everyone does of course)

    By the way, we are running the latest versions of everything. And we have tried changing the theme and it still does it. Also turned off literally every plugin but Woo and Stripe plugin.

    From what I understand, you’re experiencing a problem when attempting to fill the YEAR field in the Stripe CC Expiration Date using the number pad. It only allows you to type the first two digits, automatically inserts a forward slash, and then prevents any further input. I understand that this can be frustrating, especially since it’s a commonly used field during the checkout process.

    I have personally investigated this issue, testing the same process on our end using the latest versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe, and our free Storefront theme, with no other plugins enabled. However, I was unable to reproduce the problem, which leads me to believe that the issue may be unique to your setup.

    What’s your IP, I can whitelist it. We use Cloudflare, that screen doesn’t look like a Cloudflare block though.

    It appears Cloudflare let me through (yay!), and I was able to visit the Checkout page, at https://scottwarrick.websiteformy.com/checkout/.

    That said, I was unable to reproduce the issue, using the top row of numbers of my keyboard. That’s the only keyboard I have, to test with, I’m afraid. The good news is that it works as expected.

    I’m using the number pad on the right to fill the cc expiration date and all is working fine. I won’t post a picture of my hand on the keyboard, but you can trust me ??

    Make sure the NumLock key is active and if it still doesn’t work I’d suggest testing with another device/keyboard.

    I’m going to close this now as it doesn’t seem to be an issue with the Stripe plugin. Feel free to open a new topic if you have any other questions.

    @rainfallnixfig I appreciate your test but you’re not on the website, I’m not sure which site you’re showing there but the problem is on this website… https://scottwarrick.websiteformy.com/checkout. Scroll up and see @anastas10s’s screen shot gif and see how different your screen shot is from the one we’re talking about.

    Number lock is not the problem. 12 people have complained about it and tested to see it happening. It’s for sure a problem that is easy to recreate if you just try it on the correct website and using the number pad on the right.

    Hi @modernscarface thanks for letting us know you’ve resolved the issue. It would be a good idea to share what you’ve done so it’ll be helpful to other contributors having a similar problem.

    It’s for sure a problem that is easy to recreate if you just try it on the correct website and using the number pad on the right.

    Just a quick heads-up: I’m not sure why you assumed I was on another website. I’ve been testing on your site https://scottwarrick.websiteformy.com using Windows and Google Chrome. This is a screenshot I had previously saved. My colleague is using Safari on a Mac which resulted in a different render of the checkout page.

    Hope this makes things clear, but let us know if you have any questions.

    @rainfallnixfig I apologize, you’re correct. It does look different in different browsers. I assumed it was a different website because it looked so different.

    As for the solution, we are going to scrap this whole site and start over. The client is encountering so many issues with his website and we convinced him it is better to rebuild than to deal with the mess the previous web developer left us to work with.
