Hi there, I'm trying to use Woocommerce with the Woocommerce Subscriptions plugin to sell recurring subscriptions with Stripe (I'm trying to switch over to Woocommerce from Easy Digital Downloads).

However when I make a test subscription purchase it doesn’t create a SUBSCRIPTION in Stripe, it just makes a one-off payment and sets the product type to RECURRING on Stripe. I cant even be sure if it IS actually recurring because there’s very little information captured on stripe.

With Easy Digital Downloads the payments are captured and stored on Stripe as SUBSCRIPTIONS which separate them out from standard one-off purchases and show how many recurring payments have been made with that particular subscription, when the next payment is due and gives options to track, cancel, refund etc Which makes keeping track of my subscriptions extremely easy.

Im not sure if this is a woocommerce issue or a woocommerce subscriptions issue, but is it possible to have subscription payments recorded as subscriptions in Stripe as it does with Easy Digital Downloads?

The other less important issue is that the name of each product also isn't being recorded on Stripe with Woocommerce like it does with Easy Digital Downloads, all that is shown is the Woocommerce order number - which again makes tracking payments down on Stripe really difficult (this applies to subscriptions and one-off payments).

Is it possible to show the product name instead of the Woocommerce Order number on Stripe?

To demonstrate, here’s an image showing the difference between Woocommerce orders and Easy Digital Downloads orders (Woocommerce orders are USD)

And also an image showing my Easy Digital Downloads Subscriptions which are shown in Stripe as a list of Subscriptions in the SUBSCRIPTIONS section (woocommerce subscription orders dont seem to appear in here).

    Thanks for your help!
