Strip category base on URLs

I’m slowly moving our sites from another plugin to Slim SEO, love the UI and how little it affects performance, but I miss a specific feature I had on the previous bloated SEO plugin: Strip category base from URLs.

This would transform https://yourwebsite.com/category/SEO/ to https://yourwebsite.com/SEO/ which I believe it’s a good thing SEO wise.

Is this something that could be archived with Slim SEO?
