    Hello,

After migrating to a new server and updating some content in the site’s original language, I cannot translate the new strings. When the new string is selected, the origin language string in Translation Editor shows a timestamp, such as “2025-02-13T19:42:28+07:00” (screenshot: https://prnt.sc/PYX2-A6trAPJ). When I tried to go ahead translate the timestamps, the translation is not saved.

As a side note, I don’t know if it’s related or not, but recently I encountered an error where the WordPress database tables missing indexes (after faulty migration). So, I created the indexes manually for default WordPress database tables. Perhaps the Translatepress database tables are also missing these indexes, but I don’t know how to recreate the indexes, and if this causes the above issue.

Please advise on how to solve this issue. Many thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Nathan

    Hello there,

    Thank you for reaching us!

Since this looks a lot like a conflict with some other code, the first/next recommended step is the conflict test (ideally in a staging environment):

??Briefly disable all other plugins and enable the default Twenty Twenty One theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response!

    I have done the following:

    • Disabling all plugins, except TranslatePress
    • Activate the default Twenty Twenty Four theme
    • Try adding a new empty page with only page title and a single row of text (https://www.aplus.co.id/staging/translation-test/)
    • Try clicking the Translate Page button, navigate to the newly added text

However, the problem persists, as seen on this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/_WBkCD2Xmh6R

    Waiting forward for your advise.
    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Nathan
