string(31) error showing under posts

  • Whenever I post a message on my site, right under the date and time I get the following error “string(31) “Unable to connect to SQL host: ” which is then followed by the post.
    What is causing this string to appear?

  • That’s odd.
    Did this suddenly start happening or has it always been this way ? Have you edited the part in index.php, just under the_title where it has the category / author / date ? That could have introduced an error. Changed the theme recently ?

    I know this is old, but it’s an issue with wp-itemstats – you need to configure this plugin to be able to use the correct database. ??
