I’ve had an ongoing issue with links having strikethrough text applied to them. I reached out to my theme provider, and they indicated it was an issue with this plugin. I’ve disabled the plugin, and sure enough, the strikethrough formatting went away. I’d love to be able to have this plugin tell me if something is broken, but I don’t want it to make my pages look shittily written or broken when they aren’t. I’ll happily send a before shot when the plugin was still enabled to show what I mean, but there isn’t a spot for me to drop a screenshot here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @confessionsofagroceryaddict,

Hope this message finds you well.

There is an option to disable the strikethrough for broken links at Link Checker >> Local >> Settings >> General >> Link Tweaks, you need to uncheck this option

    – Apply custom formatting to broken links

    https://prnt.sc/H9wKt3Vqv4E0

    Please disable it.

    Best regards,
    Laura

Hi, Laura! Am I remembering this incorrectly? I thought the front-end display of broken link custom formatting was only visible to logged in admins? Is there an option for that we’re overlooking? It’s helpful for us to quickly see the links that need attention but we’d rather the non-logged in guest visitor not see the different formatting, calling attention to the broken link.

I’d like to point out that the links with the strikethrough aren’t broken, and can only be seen with that formatting in the published, public version —?not in WP admin.

    Hi @confessionsofagroceryaddict,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please provide us some links after activating the plugin by pointing out to the section that we need to look for and better if you can provide some screenshots that can help us to have a better look and understanding.

I’ll happily send a before shot when the plugin was still enabled to show what I mean, but there isn’t a spot for me to drop a screenshot here.

You can take a screenshots and use file sharing services such as Google Drive to share the link with us. Please make sure to make it publicly accessible. You can also use tools like Lightshot or Monosnap as well, they can upload the screenshot to the cloud and you can share the link with us.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer
