• Hello
    Am trying to fix some major errors on my website and a big percentage is all about drop down menu widget.

    Am using version 1.9.2 of this plugin so the errors that am having are:
    Strict Standards: Declaration of shailan_PageWalker::end_lvl() should be compatible with Walker::end_lvl(&$output, $depth = 0, $args = Array) in /var/www/html/oldwebsite/wp-content/plugins/dropdown-menu-widget/shailan-page-walker.php on line 111

    Notice: Constant VERSION already defined in /var/www/html/oldwebsite/wp-content/plugins/dropdown-menu-widget/shailan.DropDownMenu.php on line 13

    Strict Standards: Declaration of shailan_CategoryWalker::end_lvl() should be compatible with Walker::end_lvl(&$output, $depth = 0, $args = Array) in /var/www/html/oldwebsite/wp-content/plugins/dropdown-menu-widget/shailan-category-walker.php on line 154

  • I exactly have the same issue since the last WordPress update 4.1.
    With same errors on lines 111 and 154 too.

    Have you found a work around to this?

    Not yet because i have some other priorities to fix firstly but i think the most appropriate person to fix this issue is the plugin author…

    Seeing similar warnings … any word on an update or fix to address this issue?

    E.g.:

    Strict Standards: Declaration of shailan_PageWalker::start_lvl() should be compatible with Walker::start_lvl(&$output, $depth = 0, $args = Array) in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas10_data03/54/2572254/html/wp-content/plugins/dropdown-menu-widget/shailan.DropDownMenu.php on line 761

    I have the same errors – same lines as described above.
    Was looking for a solution on why database tables are not being created on plug-in installs when user has ALL permissions – is this related?
