I’m trying this out and I’m not very happy with the way it contorts the aspect ratio of the images in many of the display settings.
I tried Gallery /Content Popup, Thumbnails View and Slider and they all stretch the images. There does not seem to be any setting to make this not happen.

Lightbox Gallery and Content Slider, seem to display correctly.

I saw that two years ago some one mentioned this but it seems like nothing was done about Please fix this asap.

  • Hello @garymanners
    Thank you for contacting us
Our plugin in free version has some limitations among which is the options for size.
They are available in pro version, also we have added an option to cut the image if the images are different in size but you want them to be in similar boxes.
    Here is the options https://prntscr.com/ddiis4

Don’t hesitate if you have more comments or questions

    Thank you

Let’s just say that this is a bad business model. You are basically giving someone something that’s broken and telling them that you won’t fix it until they pay you.
If you don’t want to provide a function that works properly than you need to disable it in the free version and let folks know that it is available in the paid version. People are less likely to want to buy your pro version if they see the shoddy way you made the free version.

Dear @garymanners looks like there is a misunderstanding . That is not a problem, and we are not saying that you need to buy so we fix.

This is a limitaion of free version. in order to use free version you need to upload images which are similar in size and have the same proportions as the element boxes – this is the limitation

If you try to use different sized images
    1) you need to purchase in order to configure the element size and prevent it from stretching
    2) use another view such as Lightbox Gallery

We apologies for this issue, if you wish please contact [email protected] we will enable the size options and adjust it for you so your images won’t be stretch but in this case all your images should be the same size.
