stretch section not working after updating to 3.0.4 (from 2.8.3)

  • Full width with stretch section has stopped working after updating Elementor to 3.0.4 (from 2.8.3).

    It seems to work fine in the editor, but on the site I just get a white margin that is equivalent for all sections, stretched or not.

    I tried rolling back to 2.8.3, and it still doesn’t work.

    Disabling all other plugins does not fix it either.

    Also emptied all caches.

    Looking at the html the sections do have the relevant data-settings=”{“stretch_section”:”section-stretched”,”background_background”:”classic”}” – so I am guessing that the javascript is either not run, or it is failing somehow. There are no clear indications in the console.

    Any ideas how to debug/fix this?

    I actually see two Jquery errors thrown by your theme and Learnpress.

    You have to contact the support of these products to fix the issue.

    This is apparently affecting the stretch section feature of Elementor.

    I cannot reproduce the issue on my install with Elementor 3.0.4.
