Stream view

I am trying to fix our website from a website redesign that went in a different direction from what we had wanted. I am not a graphic designer or a website designer so please be kind, lol.

On the page that I’ve linked to, we have the stream view of our upcoming Children & Youth events. As you can see, all of them are just weekly repetitions of one kind of event. Is there a way to make it so that it only shows the 1 general event and not the repetitions? Kind of like one parent event on the stream view and then when you click on it, it shows the baby weekly repeating events. I could reduce the number of events shown in the stream view, but I have other events that I want to have listed on there – some repeating, some one-off. The one-off events get lost amongst all of the repeating events.

Also, how do I get rid of the 2nd date picker at the bottom of the stream? I don’t want it there at all.
