    Hello Jack,

The output you are seeing is not from Advanced Sidebar Menu.
The Advanced Sidebar Menu widget is hidden via CSS within
    https://ot.utoronto.ca/wp-content/themes/twentytwelve-child/style.css on line 1469.

The menu you are seeing is from a Sidebar Menu Widget which is not related to this plugin.

Okay. I see that. Now my problem is: how to replace the instances of Sidebar Menu Widget with the Advanced Sidebar Menu. When I remove the Sidebar widget, the menu disappears (no surprise), but do I need to then re-install the Advanced Menu for it to pick up on the pages it is not working on? The Advanced menu has been applied to the “Research” section of the site and it seems to work fine there. btw: I didn’t build the site, so I’m having to work out what has been done, and I’m new to WordPress.
    many thanks.

If you remove the css found at the line, the menu will re-appear.

Let me know if you need more information.
