Very good plugin, I am using it since years.

In SlimStat’s real-time log links at “Open this URL in a new window” normally lead to the corresponding blog post. In some cases, however, strings such as “%3Ffbclid%253DIwAR38TfLf7uoK247d0nvOzYs-SyA_Meab7jFF3k-_s2eduTiA217pe_4eMls” are appended to the link. It seems that at least the first characters “%3Ffbclid%25” are always the same. “%3F” (?) normally introduces a query string, but probably loses its meaning due to the percentage coding.

    Any explanation?

    Thank you in advance!

    Hi,

These strings, like %3Ffbclid%253DIwAR38..., are normal and nothing to worry about. They are added by websites like Facebook to track where visitors come from.

They do not affect your website or blog posts negatively. It’s just a technical way of keeping track of web traffic.
