Strange thing…

I checked the box to Hide WP-Admin, put in a url bit (it had a – in it), and ticked the WP credentials.
When I put in my Lockdown URL it throws a 404 error page. When I use the wp-admin it takes me directly to my site dashboard w/o the need of username/password.
Please what did I do wrong? At the moment, I have the plugin obviously disabled.
