Strange text in header that I can't delete

In error, I added Goggle site verification code to my header & I can not find it to delete it. On my home page, I added the code between the <header></header> code. When I saw the results, I deleted the code but WordPress did not remove that text from my page. I also look for it in Editor/header.php with no luck. You can see the text under my menu items. Also, my header photo disappeared. I added it back to the “page” but do not know how to get it back into the header(banner).
Any help is appreciated.
