Strange –> symbol on the footer

  • Hi,

    on my website occours on subpages a –> symbol at the bottom.
    Take a look at the screenshot. It’s outside of every <div>
    I hope anyone can help.

    Have you tried looking in your footer.php file for this –> code?

    –> is the closing tag for comments in HTML or PHP pages, see below:

    <!-- comment here about what is going on -->

    possibly caused by a plugin.
