• I don’t know what the character is, it looks like a space, but your lightbox has a problem with it and won’t start at all. Copy what’s between those quotes into MS Word / LO Writer: “?????????????? ”
Somehow I copied it to the file name, and after uploading it to wordpress, the URL to the image created by the Jetpack CDN instead contains the following characters:
    %E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B%E2%80%8B
what your lightbox probably has a problem with

What means “has a problem with”? Is there a public website where I can see that effect?

Generally my plugin does not care about characters in filenames at all – just see the examples here, section “Images with special file names or special characters in the caption”, which are also served using JetPack:

However your server needs to be set up to handle those characters as well – especially the database needs to be configured to store data as UTF8 or UTF8MB4 to be sure that characters are stored correct.
