• Prior to installing this plugin I used the test site to test for my site. The results were great so I decided to install it for real but when I tested the site the results were worse than before the plugin. I have repeated this a few time always with the same result. Why does it show scuh good improvement with the test site but not with the website?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @igwebs ,

That’s a good question. Can you please also share the URL of the test site so I can test? Any other test results / screenshots would be helpful are welcome

My understanding is that your server is physically too far away from PageSpeed Insights servers. Your TTFB is 3.3 seconds, even though the page seems to be cached by WP Fastest Cache:

The test server preview.wp-meteor.com is far closer to PageSpeed Insights (hosted at AWS), so the response is almost instantaneous. This distance also affects loading speed of other page assets – CSS and images. I would install WP Meteor and use Chrome Lighthouse from your location to perform the tests and compare speed with/without WP Meteor

Yes that worked much better though it didn’t resolve all of the issues! So where exactly is the PageSpeed Insights located?

I guess your server is in Canada I guess, and PageSpeed Insights is in the US, should be fast, but it isn’t for some reason. Maybe your server is slow / on a slow network. It is hard to diagnose
