Strange Problem between Contact Form 7 and 3Clicks Theme

  • I am having a strange problem and this happened when I updated contact form 7 from the dashboard.

    After I updated I was not able to add or edit pages on my site renovatedceilings.com.

    *If I deavtivate Contact form 7 (I am able to edit existing pages and add new pages but I cannot click on pages from the dashboard to view all pages.*

    If I default to the twenty fourteen them, with contact form 7 activated the problem disapears, so I am thinking this just may be a clash with my theme “3clicks by bringthepixel”.

    I’ve tried talking to the makers of the theme but either they do not undestand what I am saying or they are ignoring this problem.

    If anyone can help me fix this, it would be appreciated.. I have searched everywhere and for hours and found nothing.

    Again, I think its between contact form 7 and 3clicks theme.

  • It is always possible that Contact Form 7 didn’t install or update correctly on your site. It’s a general problem with WordPress updates due to the unreliability of internet connections. Delete the plugin folder at wp-content/plugins/contact-form-7/ and install the plugin again.

    This indicates that your theme is the problem. You will need to resolve this issue with your theme provider.

    Strange, I use this theme and Contact Form 7 and have never had a problem. I hope you sorted it, I have very little experience of the technical stuff so can’t help otherwise.
