Strange Issue. Specific category page and category tagged posts are not showing

  • Hello everyone.

    I recently encountered a strange issue with my site or my account or user. I’m not really sure.

    We have a post category X and a category page fot these posts as Y. As an administrator; when I try to filter posts on tagged category X it’s empty on the dashboard. When I visit the category page Y, its also blank. Those posts However when some other administrator on a different computer using my credentials, they can view posts on category X and category pages Y. Other administraros can also filter these posts and can see the category page.

    I tried using different browsers and the result is the same. We don’t use any member plugin to limit features. It’s only specifically happening on my computer.

    By the way; we have the site running for the last 10 years with recent updates etc and with licensed products.

    What could be the reason for this? I sense it’s something very easy to fix but no luck.

    UPDATE: I’m using another pc and able to see these specific category posts and category page. It’s only happening on my computer.

    Since you mentioned that the issue is not present when logging in with your credentials on a different computer, I suspect this is a browser caching issue. I would suggest using an incognito (private) window on your computer and check if the issue is still happening.

    If all works as expected, clear your browser cache.
