Strange issue: New posts

  • I’m helping a friend run a website (foodie blog) and she’s got hundreds of posts and up until recently the site has had no issues.

    Earlier this week we noticed that if we type up a new post and save to drafts, then type up another post and save that to drafts, the previous post no longer exists (isn’t being listed under drafts). We’ve turned off all plugins and tried it, same issue. Must mention, every new post saved to drafts , overwrites the previous saved post (or appears to be doing so) !!

    Is this something anyone here is familiar with and maybe have a fix ?

    EDIT: Server is a VPS with 1GB RAM , 1vCPU, 128GB SSD. Ubuntu 19, MariaDB, NginX.. Hosted with Vultr!

  • What version of WP are you using? Which editor are you using?

    I tried it with WP 5.3 and the block editor, and did not have that problem.
