Strange issue for member directory listings showing

I’m trying to utilize ultimate member as a membership directory but the function doesn’t seem to apply correctly in grid of list mode. For some reason it’s showing approved status along with weird php comment code ont he top and below. Can someone assist?

This is currently on the hello elementor theme.
