• My artwork portfolio has a strange issue which has just started happening all by itself, where some post thumbnails are not loading correctly. The strange thing is that sometimes they load and sometimes they dont. If you reload the page it changes each time.

I am using a portfolio template which I have had customised through freelancer.com as I am not a wordpress programmer.

The address for the page that is having problems is https://kitwebster.com/category/news/

On one instance, an ‘internal server error’ appeared.

The wordpress files are all stored on a server with the company https://www.ventraip.com.au

Im wondering if anyone can identify what could be happening here and give me a few options for fixing it?

    Thank you.

  • Deactivate all plugins, revert to Twenty Eleven theme and see if the problem persists.

I tried deactivating all the plugins but it didnt work.

I cant revert to the original theme because I have had so much customisation on this theme that its impossible to go back!

Activating another theme instead of the customized doesn’t mean you’re going to loose all your customizations. ??
The customized theme will be there as it’s done before. Activating Twenty Eleven will just activate the look for you on the front-end. You can switch back to the previous customized one whenever you like. (Things like menus, and widgets may change a bit, but you can fix ’em up quickly)

Changing theme to default will let you diagnose the problem, whether the plugin is conflicting with the theme, or the WP version is conflicting.

    And two questions:
    a. Which version of WP you are using?
    b. Have you recently updated you WP version?
