    Hey,

I’ve been using your plugin for a long time. I use the free membership option.

Yesterday I moved the site from different server and today I was playing with some js codes using the ones you can put on the site to capture some info from it (name, @ etc.). Pretty much pixel code type.
The code wasn’t compatible with your plugin (the users could not be registered), so I got rid off it.

Strange thing is happening now: after a new user registers the site is not redirecting to “Registration complete. Please log in” – it’s just freezig / the “wheel” is spinning, and after some time the error comes out saying about time-out.

The users are being registered, but it looks trashy. How can I fix that?

(I checked with kind of twin site I was transfering too and it’s working just fine, so I guess it was about the js code play. I was playing with the editor – just with plugins fields.)

I’m looking forward to hearing from you,
    Luke

Hi Luke, I don’t know what you have done so perhaps a clean install might fix your issue.

In regards to the following comment.

The time out is coming from your server settings. You need to speak to your host to increase the time out feature in your Apache server.

    Hey,

How can I do the clean install to keep my settings and subscribers?

Create a backup just in case something goes wrong. Then deactivate and delete the plugin. Install a fresh new copy.

Let me know if this helps you.

    Hey,

Just did it and it didn’t help. Any other suggestions?

I don’t know if that correlates with the issue, but I am not able to embed this website – I paste the url to th iFrame codea and it results in blank white place instead of the scrollable embedded site/box.

Did you speak to your host in regards to the time out issue?

Hey, the issue is fixed. There were something wrong with some paths, which might happen during the transfer, or some conflict between the Simple Membership plugin and login authentication feature of the Shield plugin. Anyway it’s solved.

    Thank you for the support.

    Cheers,
    Luke
