Strange formatting problems

I’m running the Blogolife theme (up to date) and the Jetpack and WP-Ajax-Comments plugins (both up to date). I’ve got two niggling problems that I can’t figure out how to fix. (I’ve already reported several validation errors for the Jetpack plugin, some of which were just updated today.)

In the post comments, the author field displays like this:

I can’t figure out if this is a theme problem, a plugin problem or a WordPress problem. I’m assuming its the Wp-Ajax-Comments plugin, but I’ve edited some files (to add a space) and it made no difference at all.

At the bottom of a post, there is a place where you can add a comment. Above the comment box are the words “New commenters and replies with links are moderated”. Both those words and the comment box are offset to the left, outside the boundaries of the blog design.

That I’m sure is a Jetpack problem, but I can’t figure out how to fix it.

I’ve tried adding style=”margin-left:30px” in both divs and it hasn’t moved the text and comment box over at all.

Any help in tracking these down would be appreciated. I’ll report the second problem to Jetpack support as soon as I have the solution.
