Hello. I searched for ages to find the right plugin for my needs, and finally found your plugin! I love it! It does exactly what I need it to do, so thank you very much for all your hard work making it and putting it out there. I am wondering though, I seem to be having a formatting problem with my site. I am using the Customizr template, and have created a page called “Our Products” and pasted the code into the page (with no other text or additions). But when I go to the page, it is weirdly formatted, with each of the buttons taking up a space above it and a space below it. But when you click a category, it all works properly from there,.. only the main “Our Products” page isn’t formatted right.

    The page is here: https://www.bakerscakery.com/our_products
It is still under construction with only temporary images and text.

I am by NO means a coding guy, I know very little about coding/writing websites, but if you might be able to tell me what is going on and let me know how I might be able to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks!

Thanks for your positive feedback, glad you like the plugin ??

Now, I can see the problem on your page is that everything seems to be putting itself within the tags <code></code> which is throwing out the formatting. I suspect this is caused because the shortcode might be within those tags. When you put shortcode into your page/post you just put it in plain in either text or visual editor, no need to place it within the <code> tags. Check it out and let me know if I’ve guessed the problem correctly on this one! ;-p

    Cheers,
    Maeve

PS If you like the plugin it is really helpful if you can give a rating/review here. Thanks

Thanks for the help. All I did was create the page and simply paste in your [wp-catalogue] code,.. but I didn’t put any <code> tags or anything else in. Unfortunately, as I do not know much about coding, I do not know how to remove the <code> tags. How would I be able to make that change?

    Hi Maeve,

Love this product. Cant wait for the pro version. I would like to know if I can implement this into my main page as a series of possibly three recent posts with pictures and links to the newest products added. I would like to add it at the bottom of my main page kind of like the portfolio plugin does. In my main page I am trying to get rid of portfolio and use your product instead. So here is the short code for the portfolio:

    “[portfolio projects=”6″ title=”Our Products” show_title=”yes” columns=”4″]”

Can I do something like this with your plugin?

Edit the page where the catalogue shortcode is embedded > go to ‘text’ view (rather than ‘visual’ editor view) > find the place where the shortcode appears and remove the <code></code> tags from around it. Save. Done.

Have answered your query in it’s own thread. Please do not double post. Thanks ??
