• I have a fresh 3.1.1, and each time I’m trying to install any plugin that has something to do with ads or image, I get this strange mkdir() error message, and I can no longer continue, but to un-load the plugin.

    For example:

Warning: mkdir() [function.mkdir]: Permission denied in /home/user/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/simple-ads-manager/sam-admin-class.php on line 18

    and

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/user/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/simple-ads-manager/sam-admin-class.php:18) in /home/user/public_html/blog/wp-includes/functions.php on line 851

Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?
    Thnx

  • Looks like the plugin is not compatible, using ftp rename this plugin simple-ads-manager

Well, it’s kinda strange, because I have now tried at least 5 ads plugins, and all show the same error.
I tried now by changing the name, but it’s the same:(

Perhaps because that wp installation is in a subdomain?

Deactivate all plugins and switch to twentyten theme. Then try to add the plugin.

Also, can you post a url?

Same, I activated 2010, and still not working. I think govpatel is right, I just got lucky and tryed exactly those plugins that are not compatible with 3.1.1.

If you know a good and very simple ads manager plugin for the widgets?
The main issue here, is that I need a super easy plugin to upload a visual ad, put a link and that’s it. Please let me know if you know such a plugin that works on 3.1.1.

    Thanks:)

Else, I will install have to 3.05, to see if the plugin can be installed on it.
