Strange characters in past posts wth ? and a€?

  • I had the same problem when I upgraded to 2.6.1, not with every post though. I think it has something to do with the way WP interprets the various ‘flavours’ of printer’s quotes, em/en spaces etc that end up embedded in the texts.

    The only way to correct it is to edit every instance.

    Take a look at what I wrote about this problem recently. It might resolve your issue with the unicode ?’s showing up in your blog posts.
