Strange change to settings

I updated a couple of plugins, including Secondary Title, and it created a problem I wasn’t anticipating.

The site is FAUOwlAccess.com

The way the site looked last week, only the main title of the story appeared over the main slider section (big photos at top of the page) on the front page.

Scroll down to the categories and you’d see the main title displayed, with the secondary title below.

It looked great.

Now I don’t have that kind of control. I can either have only the main title, which looks good on the slider photos but leaves the category stories blank, or the secondary title appears in both places, which clutters the slider.

Also, on the actual post page the main title is no longer the right size or color – as though it is calling to a <h1> designate within our site. I did make the mistake of resetting the plugin, so I lost the original code I had for the title format – which, of course, has compounded my issues. If what I have there now isn’t exact, I think it’s closed.

I’m experiencing the issue on both Firefox and Chrome.

Any ideas for repairing this would be appreciated. I’ve played around with all the settings unsuccessfully.
