Strange behaviour when preview post first then publish the article

    Hi Support,

    I’m using this plugin for quite some time now. I’m experiencing an issue when I try to preview (without saving draft) a post before I publish. When I preview the post, the selected author and selected author url appears correctly. But when I try to publish the post after previewing it, in the frontend the author name it shows correctly but the link underneath the selected author is wrong. It goes to the creator of the post author page not selected author page. Please help.

    did you experience that issue from the start or did it just start to happen recently? Any update before starting to experience it? Maybe WP or theme?

    Could you please share a URL we can check to start looking into it?

    I’m just trying this plugin. I was using another plugin it was fine. I switched to this plugin because I can add multiple authors. I couldn’t share any url because our site haven’t live yet (Using TagDiv Newspaper Cloud Template). I tried using this plugin with default twenty-twenty theme the behaviour is still the same. I’m using WordPress v5.5.1 with classic editor. Everything time I preview the post without saving draft then publish it, the author url it picks my url rather than chosen author but the author name it displays correct. Thank you.

    Hi @thenesh,

    we cannot reproduce the issue on our testing server using those two themes, so it might be a config setting or a third party plugin conflicting. Could you please open a support ticket with us here providing admin access to your dev installation so we can look into it?
