Strange behaviour of Polylang plus issue with Page Builder by SiteOrigin

    I’m using WordPress 4.2.2 with latest version of Virtue Premium theme and the following active plugins

    I setup https://mysite.audio/mysite as WordPress Address (URL) and https://mysite.audio as Site Address (URL). The first strange behaviour is that without Polylang plugin all works well while with Polylang plugin active my main page changes from https://mysite.audio to https://mysite.audio/en/audiophile-craftmanship/
    I cannot understand the reason for this. Under settings->language->settings->URL modifications I have the following configuration:

    The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks Example: https://mysite.audio/en/my-post/
    Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks Example: https://mysite.audio/en/
    The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id Example: https://mysite.audio/en/ instead of https://mysite.audio/en/audiophile-craftmanship/

    Can you tell me why?

    Moreover, there is a compatibility issue between my configuration theme + plugin and Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin. If I enable this plugin, the Woocommerce shop pages start to be unreachable with 404 error. Is there a bug?
