    Hi,

I′m testing your plugin at the moment on my test-site.

I realized that the plugin has some problem if for example coupon value is 20 Euro and subtotal in cart is lower…let′s say 6,90 Euro.

The coupon is getting applied for the 6,90 Euro but than it is doing something with the shipping costs.

Normally shipping would be 3,49 Euro including tax 19%, but now it is

    2,93 Euro in cart x 1,19 = 3,49 Euro.

So in this case tax 19% get′s deducted by using the coupon!? That should not be the case …right?

    Also for the same case:

    I had a coupon with value 20 Euro – 6,90 Euro = 13,10 Euro left (not used).

If I try to order again I′m getting an error message: “the coupon code does not exist”!

Customers will not be happy about that!

Question: Show coupon list should be visible for logged in user…right? It′s activated in my case but I can′t see it.

    Regards

    Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I’ll summarize your concerns below and address each:

    1. Tax Deduction with Coupons: The behavior you observed, where tax gets deducted when a coupon is applied, is actually in line with how WooCommerce handles coupons. The tax calculation changes because the coupon is applied to the subtotal, which then affects the taxable amount. This is consistent with the default WooCommerce coupon functionality.
    2. Coupon Invalid After One Use: Our plugin’s gift card coupon feature is built on WooCommerce’s standard coupon feature. Just like WooCommerce’s default coupons, if there’s a remaining balance after an initial use, WooCommerce’s default behavior is to not allow users to use the remaining value. The coupon can only be used multiple times with the same discount amount. However, the difference is that, our coupons are designed to be used once per customer per order.
    3. “Show Coupon List” Option Not Displaying Coupons: Currently, the “Show Coupon List” option does not work with WooCommerce Cart and Checkout blocks. If you are using these blocks, please switch to the shortcodes instead. We are working on delivering a compatible version soon. Additionally, ensure that the user is logged in with the correct account associated with the receiver’s email address to view the coupons sent to that email address/user account.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

    1. The tax is getting completely deducted…sorry…that makes no sense…again:

coupon is getting used for subtotal and for subtotal only (not for shipping costs…this is a statement from you in another support thread)…..means:

6,90 Euro for product + 3,49 Euro (including 0,56 Euro tax) shipping = total 10,39 Euro incl. 19% tax

After using coupon it should be:

0,00 Euro for product + 3,49 Euro shipping = 3,49 Euro total incl. 19% tax

    But it is:

    0,00 Euro for product + 2,93 Euro shipping = 2,93 Euro total without tax 19% (0,56 Euro)

    This can′t be right!?

    2. ok….I need to inform customers that that′s the way it is…but the will not be happy.

    3. I don′t use blocks

    Regards

    Hi,

Thank you for replying. Just tested again and compared to WooCommerce standard coupon, they’re still working the same on my site. I supposed you meant “now it works” in your latest message?
