    Hi,

I have noticed that when the Redirection plugin is deactivated, a few pages load slower, as if they don’t get cached. They are cached, but they load noticeably slower.

When I enabled it, those pages load fast again. I have no clue what is going on. Those pages are not added to the list of Redirects in the plugin. They could have been at some point in time, but not now.

Also, and I don’t know if this is related, but I get loads and loads of entries in the 404 section (350+ currently). Is this normal? It’s URLs that look totally made up.

    Regards

Deactivated or activated? It’s not clear what you mean.

URLs that look totally made up.

    They are probably made up.

Sorry, I did some more A and B testing, and it does not seem to be related to your plugin. However, the entries in the 404 log, you’re saying this is expected?

I’m saying that your assertion that they are made up is probably correct. Redirection will log any 404, regardless of whether it is real or made up. It is up to you to decide what to do with them.
