Strange ? characters appearing in Email

    Hi,

    I am running a hospitality website through wordpress and the php command that sends the email through works fine when an order is placed but when the email comes through it has weird A characters. The unicode is all set to UTF-8 in the config and in the database and we don’t use any weird plugins just a php reader in pages. Kind of stuck now where to look it looks extremely unprofessional.

    Here’s an example of what I’m seeing

    Order ID:? ? 481
    Ordered by:? ? Martin Cawood
    Order created on:? ? 27-05-2015

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    It seems that WordPress had put these A’s in the actual php when converting the unicode over. I just had to go in and delete them from my code (typical)
