  • go to google, search: apple-touch-icon > go into their images. Find an image you would like to use.. Save image as: apple-touch-icon.png (make sure it is a .png file already, if not, find another?) – Then, whereever this file is at.. right click,copy,paste it to the same folder on your computer. Rename the 2nd one to apple-touch-icon-precomposed.png

    upload both files to your root directory via FTP.

    You should see some others popping up too.. I had a few, like apple-touch-icon-133×133.png or something (along with the precomposed error). So I had to upload like 6 files (2 of each size) to my root directory to get the errors to vanish.

    OK, thanks. I found out that the apple icon is used by apple (obviously) and android when adding a page to the list of favorites.

    So I took my own logo, changed the file name and put it in the root of my website.
