    it’s strange how they haven’t implemented a shortcode for just ‘url’, instead of adminurl. Developers are wanting to link to the users profile and messages etc most of the time, not the admin profile or wp backend.

    I’m not sure what your developers need exactly but they could always add it via github – the source is open and I’m willing to accept pull requests.
