str_replace(‘&’,’&’ -> Help

    str_replace(‘&’,’%26′,__(‘Myregword<small><sup>®</sup></small>’,’mandigo’)

    I got this problem in the mandigo theme, I want after this word:

    Myregword? > but in the theme I use, the & string will be replaced with %26. My question is, is there a work around?

    I don’t know exactly why that string replace is in sidebar.php

    Unfortunatly the mail of the author doesn’t work, so I ask my question here. Is there a workaround this one?

    I’m no phpprogrammer, I can read code and make minor changes but I don’t want to screw my blog by changing something I don’t know about.
