    Hi,
I was wondering if the following functionality is possible with this plugin:

I want to store a php variable in the custom tab, that I later want to show on the order.

So basically I want to hide the custom product tab from the user, and store information in it via php. I want to use this information later on, when handeling the order.

Would I be able to achieve this via this plugin?

    Kind regards

Hey TimoVeld, what your describing is not possible with the custom tab plugin.

What sort of information are you planning on storing? Is it unique to each order placed? There may be another plugin more appropriate for what you’re trying to do

It is unique to each order yes. I’m trying to store an uploaded image.

Hey TimoVeld, I took a look around and couldn’t find any off-the-shelf plugin that looked like it fit your needs. If this is something you require, and unless you have better luck finding an existing plugin, I’d recommend getting in touch with codeable.io, one of the woo affiliated workers, or any other competent PHP/WordPress/WooCommerce developer you trust to custom build this for you. Hope this helps

I’m fairly sure you can use the same meta functions as wordpress using the order id (which is the same as the post id)
