• Hi there,

I’d like to have some input about a website that is needed for an educational entity, and which is currently unavailable. What is pretty much requires in a nutshell is the following: have pages with the ability of having forms so sensitive data could be entered by staff and stored, and then also the ability to query this data by same staff – users need a login for this.

I’ll appreciate your input so I can have an idea of how this site could be implemented using WordPress.

    Many thanks!

  • Hello. ??

This is an ideal use case for a membership site. You can create one fairly simply using a membership plugin and a form plugin.

There are many of each that you can consider at a variety of price points starting with free options and you’ll want to look at the features to see which fits your needs best.

Two membership plugins to consider are MemberPress and Paid Membership Pro, as well as WP User Manager. They each have their strengths. For forms, Formidable Forms will handle both the data entry and retrieval that you’re looking for. You could also try Gravity Forms with the Gravity View add on.

Those are just a few suggested places to start. As I said, there are a lot of options out there and it all comes down to your budget and the features you need.

    Best wishes with your project!
